In this thread though I would like to focus more on our professional, yet warm and friendly celebrant – Mr PM Carter. I could not recommend him highly enough. Our following email correspondence was always very thorough and efficient and there were no delays. Mr Carter (or Carter as he likes to be referred to as) was very flexible with the content of our wedding program and Vows etc however at the same time he made very good suggestions and recommendations as to the order of the ceremony and from his experience how the ceremony would best flow.
We first met Carter in person at the Banyan Tree Samui the day before the wedding and we went through in detail the ceremony, order of events, completed any necessary paperwork and even down to the style and colour theme of the wedding so Carter could co-ordinate is attire and accessories (ceremony notes/booklet etc) with our wedding. After chatting with him during our preliminary meeting we had felt like we had known him a lot longer. He is very warm and friendly, always smiling yet has a very professional manner and attitude toward his responsibilities. Although our wedding was the most special day of our life we also wanted it to be relaxed and full of joy. Carter brings the correct balance of both to his profession.
We also received wonderful feedback from our guests and family who found Carter to be very sociable and friendly and he interacted very well with all guests whilst still showing respect to us and our wedding guests by providing the right amount of privacy.
We were hoping that he could join us at our cocktail reception so we could have a toast to thank him however he had to leave. He did however stay for an hour after the ceremony but we were having our professional photos taken we didn’t have much time to chat to him. He was however mingling with all guests . It was very nice of him to do that and not just disappear like I have seen some do.
Although this is my first (and only wedding!) I can say that I have been to many many weddings and the celebrant/priest can impact on the whole ambience/mood of you, your guests and the whole wedding ceremony. For this reason it is very important I feel to have the right celebrant/priest. I highly recommend Carter. I believe his website is www.samuibeachwedddings.com.
Good luck to all you upcoming brides and if you decide to get married in Samui and want the perfect wedding in the perfect service then don’t look further than Carter as your celebrant!

Kaz even though you weren't able to be there your assistance with planning leading up to the wedding made it so much easier from many miles away. As we are now home, after a dream wedding and holiday, both Ron and I felt we needed to contact you both.
We would like to thankyou for making this occasion of our daughter - Christie and new son-in-law Simon's - Wedding such a wonderful event.

Just a quick note from Lydia & I to say thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for the amazing job you did organising our wedding last year. It really was everything we had hoped for and we would heartily endorse Samui Beach Weddings to any couples looking to hold their wedding on Samui.
From rescuing the whole thing from the disaster it had become with another wedding planner, then with over 80 guests, a fireworks show PLUS a freak storm to contend with, you guys were professional, beyond competent and most of all friendly at every stage.
We have received so much positive feedback from guests on your efforts as our celebrant Carter and the smoothness of the organisation on the day Kaz.
Perhaps the greatest testament to the quality of the job you both did was the fact that Lydia and I could not have been more relaxed and comfortable throughout the whole of our special day ... and surely that's what you want from your wedding planner?
It should also be said that in addition to all of the above, the costs associated with your services were more than competitive with other comparable services on the island ... on many fronts, much more reasonable.
To anyone reading this looking for a wedding planner on Samui, I urge you to give Samui Beach Weddings your trust. We did and it was repaid in spades! We will always share a beer with Carter and Kaz on any future visits to Samui and consider them our friends!

Just want to say that we came home to Sweden yesterday morning and saw the CD with all the wonderful pictures! Please let the photographer and florist, like you and Carter, know that they did make a terrific good job and we are so satisfied!! Our kids are so impressed of the whole very beautiful arrangement and we hope they in the future will have the same kind of wedding.
At Sunday our parents and rest of family will come for barbecue and we will show them all the pictures. Actually, we saw an similar wedding ceremony at the beach in front of our hotel at Koh Phangan. The beach was not so beautiful , clean and calm as ours. Not the flower arrangement and petals and all the surrounding details either. Therefore we will really let you all know how happy we are for all your work!!!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you did to organize our special day - it was perfect. Chris and I didn't want a massive fuss on our wedding day we just wanted the day to be a special day just for us where we could spend the day focused on each other and everything was exactly how we could have imagined, the beach was gorgeous (nice and quiet!), the flowers were beautiful - exactly what I wanted right down to the purple twine. We had such a great time and felt so relaxed about the whole thing which meant we could enjoy the moment. We couldn't have asked for a more amazing setting for our wedding, especially with that pink sunset we were lucky to have! The photos of the whole day were brilliant we have had so many comments off friends and family and lots have said the photos really captured the love! - they were gorgeous not a single one we disliked! As for getting all our legal bits and bobs sorted that was great Carter!

Hi Kaz & Carter,
We just wanted to send a little note to say thank you for putting together our wedding on Koh Samui. You did an AMAZING job in the 3 or 4 weeks notice we gave you. It was the most special day of our lives. Nallinadda was beyond beautiful, just like paradise. After all the chaos we had to go through for the past year or so deciding where we were going to get married, we have to say that its the best decision we have made. It was stunning and would not have been possible without you guys. Our families loved the photos and the DVD. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts.
